crashes as game is loading, not sure whats up but this is a bit of the debug log where the errors appear to start, any help would be greatly appericated thanks

Well, you havent given us much information, and thats only part of the debug output, but from what it looks like, you need to install the drivers for your graphics card from the manufacturers website.

Well that got me a bit more ahead, its now crashing after i log in when the game goes to retrive consumables ect and load my account. Had windows on this before and WoT ran ok, its running a NVIDIA 300M, this is the full log i got from it.

This isnt Windows. :)

So, you will need to go to Nvidia's website, and download and install the newest drivers for your system, so that you can have the drivers and 32 bit libraries required to play the game with the card. That should solve your issue.

couldnt find the driver for ubuntu on nvidia site ( tried the linux version but it came off as a .run file) i used Dash to update drivers

yup. Thats how they come.

So, uninstall whatever you installed from the Dash or the software center or additional hardware. After that, restart your machine.

Then, download the driver for your card (which is a .run file), and do the following:

CTRL+ALT+F1

log in with your username and password

navigate to where you downloaded the file (probably in /home/user/Downloads)

sudo chmod +x NVIDIA-nameofdriver.run

sudo service lightdm stop

sudo ./NVIDIA-nameofdriver.run

and follow prompts.

Ctrl +alt+F1 seems to turn off my display and makes the system unresponsive??? Lol

Yeah. It does. If you have multiple monitors, it will be on one of those. You can get back to your regular desktop by CTRL + ALT + F7.

That is how you install them, and its the only way to make sure that they are in there correctly.

You will also have to install build-essential first, so that you have the tools to build the kernel module.

Write down those instructions or view them on a phone or another computer or something, and follow those instructions.

Once you hit CTRL+ALT+F1, every monitor but your main one will shut off, and it will prompt you for a username. Type in your username, press enter, and it will ask you for your password. It WILL NOT show your password or even little dots, so just type your password, and it will let you log in.

Trust me, this will work, and it seems like a pain in the ass, but its really not, and will give you way better performance.
