When I try to change the wine version, it will not let me, even though I have both the 32 and 64 bit version of wine 3.20 and also  1.3.32-tlj... all of which appear in my installed wine version, but i cannot select them when I hit the down arrow that should let me sift between them. After clicking on the down arrow only option 3.20 shows up, and with no indication of 32 or 64 bit.

Also, when I hit pay to start the game, it apparently starts, but the screen looks crazy. But, if I hit print screen and take a screenshot, the screenshot looks great. How is this and how do I fix it?

And why did this all used to work? This is on linux mint 18.3. It all used to work but no longer does, why?

I can't see anything listed above version 3.20 on both 32 and 64 bit WINE versions.  It is almost as if someone moved or deleted all the binaries on the server and forgot to tell us.

Have fun and keep us posted.

Yes, I thought it must be an old version. So I asked my Linux to reinstall. It tells me;

Reading state information... Done
playonlinux is already the newest version.

Maybe they need to update the distros? Mine reports back 4.2.2  I am pretty sure that is not the newest.  But don't worry about me, I am fine. I have WINE version 4.0 as default from WINEHQ.  My husband and I like to mess with the other builds to see what works best with the apps.  I was sure surprised when I could not fine anything above 3.20.

I know your next question...  Linux distro?  We have them all Mint, Ubuntu, Debian, DSL, Raspberry, etc..

As they say, the ball is still in your court.

EDIT: Nevermind my husband got it to update. The distro key was bad.  He did a full uninstall / reinstall.

Yup, I don't know why Mint keeps those old versions of PlayOnLinux in the package repository?

This has been a problem for a long time.  Manully installing it from the PlayOnLinux website fixes a lot of problems.
