Global setting for wines "My Documents" path.

instead of editing the Wine options for every single virtual drive

Like (I assume) many oher people, I really donæt want the Windows games and apps I install to put a lot of folders and files in my home dir.

This currently happens because the standard way of PlayOnLinux (maybe inherited form Wine itself?) is to map the wine My Documents folder to the users $HOME. This is IMO not the best way as you normally don't want this to clutter your $HOME.

This would not be a problem if PlayOnLinux allowed users to set a global option for the My Documents-folder and other Wine-folders (like My Pictures etc.).

As it currently stands you have to edit the Wine options of *every single* virtual drive, if you want the environment to have your "My Documents" folder somewhere else than in your home dir.

Looks like my feature request from last May:

(and yes, currently it's just Wine hardcoded behavior)

Seeing as playonlinux allows you to change these paths for each virtual drive, I fail to see any reason as to why you couldn't (and shouldn't) be allowed to just set a default for future drives also. These values must be stored by Wine somewhere, and it should be possible to script it into the virtual disk setup. After all, you don't break anything more by allowing it to be set as a default, than you do by allowing it to be changed.

Is there any reasoning behind that that isn't noted in the feature request, or is it simply because it is low on the priority list that nothing has been done about it.
