ok so im having some slight problems with silverlight when installing it through playonlinux......... i reciently installed ubuntu on my PC i couldn't handle windows problems any more, any ways i installed IE 8 ,java, flashplayer and silverlight so i could watch netflix because they dont support ubuntu running firefox i had to find a way around this............so my question is what am i missing? i installed silverlight and not im being told it's not installed and i need to reinstall it to watch netflix.........SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!

Not everything works under Wine, it seems to still require some specific patches:

ya i found that page right before i checked the thread am trying it now if it dosn't work have any other suggustions?

If a howto says you need less than two months old patches to run the thing, the odds are rather high that it's correct.
If you can't get those instructions to work, you'll have to wait for someone to come up with a script to install everything more simply.
Otherwise, the very same page lists your other options.

Did you :
-use wine 1.5.18 ?
-installed silverlight VERSION 4
-use FIREFOX not IE

well after hours and hours it finally works........ive knotists one thing netflix dose not like to go back to the browsing menue any ideas for that?
