I really wish somebody could help me out with this.

But dotnet20 and mdac28 were successfully installed at all attempts.

1.) wine 1.1.39 is enough no need for git version.
2.) install via winetricks gdiplus ie6 dotnet20 mdac25 mdac28
3.) now install livezilla
4.) NOW instal winetricks corefonts
Tried the steps above on PlayonLinux with wine 1.1.39 and the packages mentioned above (at this order) but still, I get the same error upon login.
I have now 4 virtual drives with livezilla installed. Some of these 4 virtual drives use different wine versions. I can launch Livezilla from all 4, but I get the same error upon trying to connect. Just out of curiosity I tried loging in with a wrong password and it will display the wrong username/password combination error message.
