Wine install fails on OpenSuse 12.1

I downloaded the generic playonlinux tarball and extracted it on my OpenSuse 12.1 machine. It appears to run fine but when installing Spotify I keep having the Wine install portion fail. Here is the error that I see over and over:
[POL_System_SetArch] Message: POL_ARCH set to amd64
[POL_Wine_SetVersionEnv] Message: Wine 1.3.30 not installed. Installing it
[POL_Wine_InstallVersion] Message: Installing wine version path: 1.3.30, amd64
Server sha1 : 4d2c635e03d6cddd538a945696082d6191a05ab7
Client sha1 : dc4630ccd3bc54793cf50f2d5bc4d565f313c793

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

It turns out that a proxy server was blocking things.
