X3 Terran conflict error installing

zeus	Has anyone had any luck installing this game through POL? I can't get past installing it and then when I open it up to play it crashes before the start up screen starts.

zeus	Yep I tried all of that and nothing, It just crashed after about 5 mins play on Mint 12 Lisa, Now I've upgraded to Mint 13 Maya nothing works...No games work on POL and nothing with wine. It's frustrating because if anything is going to make me go back to windows (which is the last thing I want to do) Is the gaming aspect! When I install the game everything installs, Then it crashes at game start up.
