Hello,
Tried to launch Diablo 3 with PlayOnLinux but stumbled upon a problem that can't solve on myself. Please advise. My actions: 1. Got playonlinux via package manager (linux mint 13 x86_64; playonlinux 4.0.14); 2. Downloaded diablo 3 install file from the blizzard site; 3. Started diablo 3 install via playonlinux; 4. Was asked to install additional components, something like 'visual c++ for x64', agreed; 5. The installer started downloading diablo 3 files; 6. All files have been successfully downloaded (progress bar shows 100% and 'Play' button is enabled at the diablo window); Problem: every time I launch the game it checks for updates; says that everything is up to date but click on 'Play' button inside the diablo window doesn't spawn any new window. At the same time I see that new process is launched and it's rather big (3.9 Gb memory). I have a strong suspicion that the problem's root is that there are two video cards on my machine connected with the SLI bridge. Unfortunately, my OS doesn't allow to use it (strange error like the one described here - http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=85076). Is it possible that the game somehow tries to use the gpu not connected to the screen? Any other suggestions? Any place where I can check game logs? Reagrds, Denis |

First of all, download the latest version (4.1.1 for now) Then, you have no additional packages to instlal |

Having the same problem described in the last post.
The debugger just continuously scrolls the message: err:d3d_caps:WineD3D_CreateFakeGLContext Can't find a suitable iPixelFormat. err:d3d:InitAdapters Failed to get a gl context for default adapter Direct3D9 is not available without OpenGL. I have it on virtual desktop mode, I have installed the video driver package in the configure section, and I clicked opengl under the glsl dropdown box. Everything installed and updated fine, but when I click run, I get that error in the debugger window and after a second the diablo window closes. Edité par Justinoperable |

First, install the latest version of PlayOnLinux. It should tell you that your drivers are badly installed.

Ok, did so. Didnt realize there was a newer version than in the ubuntu repos. In any case, still no luck, but I got a new set of errors.
When I open playonlinux it gives me errors about opengl 32bits and opengl64bits and that games may not work, and then it asks me to install 7z. When I try to run diablo, now I get this slightly different debug output although it still has the same error from before as part of it.
