Game: The Sims 3 with pet expansion for English and Russian

Hello,

I am new at using linux to play games and this is my first attempt at using POL. I used POL to install the game and the installation finished without any errors. However, when i open POL and try to run sims, nothing happens. I have checked my graphics driver and it is 64 bit like my os and wine is up to date with the latest stable version so I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong.

Please update POL to the latest version before posting problems

Sorry, I updated it to the latest version now, but the issue still persists. But a thought occured to me, does the deluxe edition work with POL? I noticed on the installation list that there were seperate expansions listed aside from the sime game.

My guess, is the short cut pointed to the launcher? POL will not run the launcher, instead, run Sims with the...non launcher exe. I don't know if it is the same for the deluxe, but with normal Sims, it is called TS3.exe Hope you don't run into the problem I am having...
