Problem installing games

If I've missed something please let me know, I'm sure it's just something I'm doing wrong.

I've installed PlayOnLinux 2.0.5 on my Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy x86_64 distro.
I've installed Wine 0.9.51 prior to installing POL.

after starting the program and choosing which game to install (Star Wars Episode I : Racer),
I get a message asking where my CD-ROM directory is located, then it creates the wineprefix directory. After this, it asks if I would like a shortcut placed on my desktop then asks if I would like one in the main menu. Last, I get a message, in French, that the installation is complete.

As far as I can tell it has not run an installer and clicking run after selecting the shortcut in the list
does nothing.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

It is possible that the script of sw racer is made for the french version of the game. Remove racer, run POL in a terminal and prevent me if errors are written during the install of swr
