Hi, i'm pretty new to Linux and having a little problem with installing FM 2012. I've tried installing via Steam and it isn't possible (If anyone knows how it is please tell me!) So i've done a little reading and trying to install using Playonlinux but having a few problems. First of all I followed this guide http://asivarajan.blogspot.com/2011/11/football-manager-2012-on-ubuntu-1110.html . Once POL asks me where I want to load my install from (CD) I hit next and I get the following terminal codes....

You have run POL as root ...

I thought I was, I tried sudo playonlinux and I still get the error saying I don't own it

Still getting the same error of saying .PlayOnLinux isn't owned by me, however when I run ls -l in /home/james/.PlayOnLinux//wineprefix I get the following...

So as far as I can see I do own it? :/

Never, never run POL as root ! Remove .PlayOnLinux and restart from scratch
