I'm having the same issue. Tried downloading XQuartz from the link above, and installing that, but when I run POM I'm still having the same symptom? I tried to run the POM uninstaller as well, but it's hanging on me too. :-( Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Hey! Now we're getting somewhere! POM came up just fine. I was able to run the installer for the Original StarCraft, but now the window size is only about 1/4th of my screen. Is there a way to adjust that window. I would like to keep it as a separate window so I can minimize it, or have other windows open if need be, but would like to be able to either adjust the size or install it with a slightly larger one. Is there a way to do that?
thanx again for your help. :-)

RIght click on your game icon, and use "Configure wine", you'll be able to set a virtual desktop

hmm.. I can change the resolution, but when I start it, the actual window size stays the same. Any way I can adjust that window? It would be great if I could change the window size dynamically and the app would adjust accordingly, but I'm not sure if that's possible within this virtual desktop. Thoughts? Suggestions?
thanx~

Nope it's not possible because the resolution is controled by the game
