Hi, I'm new to ubuntu and windows definitely leave behind, I would like to know the requirements of the games playonlinux if it is true that work that are listed, such as brotherwood Assassins Creed, GTA IV and the dragon age 2, can work well on my athlon x2 II 3.2 GHz, 2GB DDR3 RAM and ATI Radeon 5450 1GB ddr3?

There R no requirements. what are the requirements for your game? some require a NVIDIA graphics driver instead, like the Portal game series. It's not the OS, it's the game.

basically, it's same requirements as windows, expect for graphic card, all because of the driver. Nvidia provide a well polished and working driver for 3D apps under GNU/Linux while AMD/ATI is not...It begin to go better with time (and thx to android popularity which proved to AMD that Linux systems ARE bankable) but do not expect miracle with wine for games with an ATi card for now.

It's still far safer to have a good Nvidia card for most of cases.
