I just installed StarCraft II and it starts fine but none of the video's play and when I start a mission the menus are there but other than that the screen is blank.

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron1525 and has a Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller.

The problem come from you're "graphic" card...Intel integrated grapgic controller are not for 3D. Even if you can launch some games under windows, SC2 is far too much for this card, especially under GNU/Linux.

Ye, that was kinda what I thought. I could run games up until about Oblivion on it under windows and I got SC II running as well. But I have a dual core cpu and a fair amount of ram so that supplemented the card enough to run some games. I guess the windows drivers just squeeze a bit more out of the, "card".
