Hi there,

I run POL 3.8.1 under Ubuntu 10.04.

I was wondering whether there was a way to automatically start MS office with POL when double clicking on a .doc or .ppt or... document - instead of Start MS Word then open then find the document then finally open it...

I once red there was a a script that would allow that, but I cant find it anymore...

Thanks for your help!!

I've updated the script done by NSLW, is getting out anytime sooner I think, I've integrated this in the installation script. But it still needs some improvement.
The way I do it in the script is a little tricky, but there is an easier way. You can right-click on the file you want to open and then go to Open With - Other application and then use custom command. In the line you can write:

playonlinux --run "Microsoft Office Word 2007"

This is an example, you can do it for PowerPoint or Excel or other program Office just do the same only changing the "Word" part...

Hope this helps...:)...
