Hi all!
I want to say thank you to all the great community that made this project a reality: it's simply great; then, when I wanted to check it out...
I've a Slackware-current playonlinux generic download configuration.
I've installed all (I think) dependencies manually: lzma, cabextractor, wxpython, wxgtk, wx, wine (1.1.7).
The issue present itself when I simply try to execute "./playonlinux" with no arguments from its untarred directory.
The bash program simply hangs, cpu is idle, no output on the console, no gui output.
I'm wondering why this strange happening occurs.

Thanks in advance to anybody will suggest me something,
Greetings,

Karimo

Hi,
You don't need lzma, but this not the source of your problem.

I think you have a problems with python and/or wxpython.

Can you try to download and execute this script checkSoftAndPython.zip ?

And post the result here.
