I'm a student, and I'm looking for a laptop for school and gaming, but a regular gaming laptop won't do because they get way too loud and I spend most of my time on campus, so I can't be using jet engines. So I'm looking into macbooks at the moment because I saw a friend emulating switch games on his and it was barely making any noise. Noise is my #1 concern and I'm willing to pay apple tax to get something that lets me play games quietly. I've seen YouTube benchmarks of the m4 chips(mostly the Max and Mac mini m4) and even on the emulation layers their performance looks pretty great, but nobody has talked about noise.
