Hello!

It's my first time trying to use PlayOnMac, so please forgive my ignorance.

 

OSX Version: 10.14.6

PlayOnMac Version: 4.3.3

Graphics card: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

 

I am trying to install Steam through the PlayOnMac installation menu. The installation process goes fine up until right after choosing a virtual drive name, where it gives me the following error:

"Error in POL_Wine_InstallVersion

Unable to find version: 5.0.2"

When I go to PlayOnMac > Tools > Manage Wine Versions, under the "Available Wine Versions" heading, it says "Wine packages website unavailable".

After seeing this, I attempted to install Wine version 5.0.2 manually by downloading wine-5.0.2-tar.xz from winehq.org, opening it, and moving the resulting wine-5.0.2 folder to the following file path: Library > PlayOnMac > wine > darwin-amd64 > wine-5.0.2

After doing this, I opened the Manage Wine Versions tool again, and wine-5.0.2 appears in the Installed Wine Versions, so I am assuming I installed it correctly. However, when I try to install Steam again, I continue to get the error

"Error in POL_Wine_InstallVersion

Unable to find version: 5.0.2"

 

Does anybody know what the problem is, and how I can fix it? Thank you!
