Dear experts,

I just installed PoM 4.4.3 on my new MacBook Air (M2 processor, 16 GB RAM, Ventura 13.5.1).

Then I wanted to install a "non-supported" program, that ran perfectly on my old MacBook pro (2011) under an old version of PoM (unfortunately I don't remember the version). 
Now when I click through the installation steps, PoM hangs at the "Please wait while the virtual drive is created" window. The progress indicator keeps on spinning, but even after 10 minutes nothing happens, so I clicked "cancel".

I do not think that this has anything to do with the actual program to be installed ("TaKeTiNa-Explorer", very special...), since at this stage I haven't even told PoM which program I want to install.

Does anyone have an idea why PoM can't complete the drive creation process?

In the meantime, I tried my luck with Parallels and learned that the M2 processors are no longer compatible with almost all older versions of Windows due to their ARM structure.

Does anyone at least know if there are any basic compatibility problems with Parallels and M2 processors?
