hello, I have recently ben experiencing issues with steam. Firstly after playing some left 4 dead, I shut it down and thought nothing of it. I opened it the next day, and while steam opened, when I attempted to open L4D2, the "synchronising steam cloud" screen very briefly appeared and dissapeared, and the game didn't launch, and I attempt again. The "synchronising steam cloud" screen appeared, and remained for some time, and once more the game refused to load. So I pursued a logical course of action, and deleted steam and reinstalled it. Now whenever I open it, the steam sign in screen will appear, but it refuses to let me type, press the "can't sign in button", or even close it. Help?

Edit: Steam will now launch, say its updating, then crash. Help

I think maybe it's not compatible with the country you installed.

Maybe try passing the arguments directly. iirc this was it -allosarches -cef-force-32bit or for only the mini library -allosarches -no-browser +open steam://open/minigameslist

For the other point is the bug also happens on CrossOver I’d reported this during CX19 that eventually the Steam client hack simply doesn’t get injected. Tried to restart / uninstall, no luck~
