Hi,

Just downloaded POM, version 4.4.3. When I launch the app I get the message: "PlayOnMac is damaged and can’t be opened".

A search on this forum turned up a post from 2021 with the same problem. Ostensibly, installing a new version fixed the problem back then. (I've already done a reinstall of the same version, without effect.)

 

OSX version: 13.0 (22A380)
PlayOnMac version: 4.4.3

Any way to fix this please?

Same here, hoping for a fix soon.

Try this open terminal type:

 

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/PlayOnMac.app

4.4 got message in subject..

4.3 which was working now cant reinstall, keep getting the “PlayOnMac.app” can’t be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed.” even though i keep giving permission.

and until i reboot finder wont open...

did the terminal command above...
