There are games I want to play using PlayOnMac that do not function unless run in Japanese. The way I got around this problem with base Wine, running the game in the terminal using the command "LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 wine SCC.exe" instead of doubleclicking the executable, appears not to work with PlayOnMac. When I put that in command in the arguments line of the game's configuration, nothing changes.

How can I replicate this functionality of base Wine using PlayOnMac? (If I could just use base for this program, I would, but to the best of my knowledge it's not an option because Apple appears to have stopped giving security support to Mojave.)

Here's a link to a log file obtained after an attempt to run the program in question. I'm not sure it's relevant, since I know how to stop the crash but not how to implement that solution. (That's why I posted it here instead of Manual Installations.)
