Team fortress 2 having texture errors

various textures aren't working in tf2

Tf2man	Hello, I have recently downloaded team fortress 2 on Playonmac and it runs fine (with a bit of lag and sound issues) but a lot of the textures like waters and the doors don't work... I think most of these textures are half-life textures. Please help me if you can!
