I think that maybe changing the time zone to US Pacific Standard Time zone might fix it. Do I do this in the registry editor? If I do how? Is there anything else that this program could be looking for that would tell it what country it was in?

This is a free game to download and to use. A lot of my GNU/Linux friends love to use it in Windows.

If you could fix this you could even play it in any country in PlayOnLinux lol.

I upgraded wine it didn't help.

Yes, the best thing is you change system.reg file under Wine's root directory.
Lookup "date" or something like that.
I did it once and it works for me.

The problem is not related to time or location any more. The specific problem is that you just can't log in. I've talked to the game site themselves and asked what could cause this problem. It all works in Windows XP just fine and we have resolved the IP problem they say would have caused it so now the problem IS! that the Log In just wont' work. You can enter the user name and password but pressing enter or clicking sign in does not work.
