Help playonmac isn't working

I can't run playonamc

It says 

PlayOnMac can't run because of a bad language settings on your computer.

To solve the problem, open a terminal and type : 

defaults write -g AppleLocale en_US

I did that and nothing happened

I had the same problem too, I looked around and found that it should be written like this without the space:

defaults write -gAppleLocale en_US
 

However, even after I did that i get a message saying:

Rep argument is not a dictionary

Defaults have not been changed.

 

Does anyone know how i can fix this?
