Hello there!

Pleas help me out if you can!

I`ve installed "the elder scrolls oblivion" thru playonmac, with the original PC cd-rom, and it runs very smooth and every thing seems to be perfect. But there is a major issue with the sound. There are extremely loud crackling/bashing noises almost every time i press the left mouse button . Its really scary because extremely loud and its sounds like the speakers woud crack soon. other then that the sound works really well!

guys is there a component to install in the programm that may help? is there anything i can do?

Can you tell me the Wine version used by this game ? (see POM Configuration).

Thanks for the answer! the current Wine version used by this game is 1.5.28

I suggest first to try to change Wine to v2.22 (then v3.0.3).

Perhaps you may find some infos on Appdb.winehq.org page.

your suggestion was very helpful! i found the bug on the page you sendt me.. now i got wine version 1.7.36 installed and it all works fine.

mr crouch, updating to a newer version solved the problem? i have some sound issues too and i was wondering if this could help?

with the nowadays pandemic i really want to play it . and get fast food too. lol. hopefully i get some answers.
