I guys,

I have a rather strange problem I haven't found a threat for yet.

When I wanna configurate or install some app with PlayonLinux and go through the process, everytime a window like the one to configurate wine for a virtual drive, the window that opens is minimal (see most left and tiniest window in the image below). It can not be changed at all. I tried serveral things including changing the resolution of the screen. Can anyone help?

Some the hard fact:

ThinkPad

AMD64

Kubuntu 18

PlayOnLinux Version: 4.2.12

Thanks in advance and in any case.

Alban

Try the "wine configuration" panel, you can change dpi settings in it ;)

Thanks for the fast replay.

Unfortunately that I did try already. But if I open the wine configuration panel (with winecfg) the same small window apears, so that I also can't configure anything.

I also tried to reinstall wine and playonlinux without any effect.

Maybe I could change the dpi through accessing the register keys. But I do not know where to do what and the first stuff you read about the register keys online is: don't change anything, especially if you don't know what to do. So again I kindly ask: can anyone help me or knows a good guide how to change the dpi through the register keys?

Thanks in advance

Alban

Try lowering your Desktop resolution to 1920x1080 if you are using a 2K or 4K screen
