I can't launch Playonmac because I get this error message:

PlayOnMac can't run because of a bad language settings on your computer.

To solve the problem, open a terminal and type : 

defaults write -g AppleLocale en_US

when I type it into Terminal -this is the result:

-g AppleLocale en_US

-bash: -g: command not found

I see that someone asked this question previously and the respondent provided a link but I am not savvy enough to understand what it's about. Does anyone else have this problem?

Does anyone know the solution to this?

What's your language settings ?

"defaults write -g AppleLocale en_US"

not "-g AppleLocale en_US"
