Hello,

I, without thinking, automatically updated Origin when it came up with the notification that an update was available when I went to launch Sims 4 earlier today and now Origin will no longer launch. Here's a pastebin of the log file it's producing when I look into debug.

A cursory search seems to say the two libraries not being found are part of OpenSSL (or at least one is - LIBEAY32.dll) but I don't know how to fix that? Would installing OpenSSL into the prefix fix it? How would I go about that because I can only find a tar.gz file or the git repo for installing it and I don't know how to run install the tar.gz into the prefix or install git for that matter.

Is that way off anyway?

[I just got two new stuff packs, the new one and an older one I didn't have already and it was working great and then I go and break it before I even have a chance to do more than load it up to make sure it would run post-installing the new packs.frown]

What version of Wine are you using for Origin?

I would recommend Wine 3.0 or the most recent staging version:  Wine 2.21-staging

Unfortunately you can't run Origin in Windows XP any longer, but in my experience when running in Windows 7 the drwite fonts are missing, but I was still able to launch my games.
