Hello,

I'm trying to install mw3 on my Ubuntu Xfce 17.10,

I choosed to install the game from PlayOnLinux list and I've followed the steps, but when It want to install andale32.exe it won't download and it skipped it, and I have this issue while installing steam too

Yes, I have this exact same problem.  In fact when it asks to download fonts I have to check "I agree" and then it downloads andale font and then starts over.

What is strange, is sometimes it downloads one time and it continues with the rest of the packages.  Other times it cycles 3 times in a row before continuing.

I have 6 Computer with Linux Mint 18.2 and PlayOnLinux.  I've seen this happen on a few of them and never happen on others.  So I'm totally confused why it needs fonts like andale?

I think it is a permissions issue with the fonts directory in ~/.PlayOnLinux but I've given up....

Since POL devs are no longer working on 4.2.12, we probably won't see a fix for this.

No problem.  I normally do manual installations when installing Games.

Do you see this font problem with manual installations as well, or are you using the PlayOnLinux installers?

Acually I used PlayOnLinux installers, and I didn't try to install it manually.

You can try a manual installation,  but I have a feeling you will still get the same error for fonts.  The process should download the fonts for you and then you can continue installing the game.
