Hi, I need help getting play on linux to work with the SMART Notebook Interactive Viewer software for Windows freeware... I'm assuming a requirement for it to be ran is not being met, I've tried a few things but no luck.

If any of you got any ideas I'm all ears, thanks.

You will probably have to attempt a Manual Installation.

This SMART Interactive Viewer requires are LOT of dependencies:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 for SMART Notebook software and SMART Ink
  • Microsoft Visual Studio Tools 2010 for Office for SMART Ink
  • Adobe Flash Player 23 ActiveX control for SMART Notebook software
  • Adobe Flash Player 23 Firefox plug-in for SMART Notebook software
  • Adobe Reader 8.0 or later
  • DirectX technology 10 or later for SMART Notebook software
  • DirectX 10 compatible graphics hardware for SMART Notebook software
  • Internet Explorer Internet browser 8 or later

Most of these are not guaranteed to work in PlayOnLinux or Wine.  So this is quite a project to get it running.
