I returned to 4.2.10

With 4.2.11

Configure

last TAB on right, i suppose "other" in english ("Varie" in Italian language)

There are 3 command buttons

The second "Open a Shell" works as the third "exec an EXE..." opening a window to choose the .exe file

The third doesn't works

 

Tested on Ubuntu 16.04 (Linux LITE) with .tar.gz package.

I do not know if this report can be confirmed by other users, but in my case, returning to 4.2.10, everything works fine.

So the Miscellaneous Tab won't allow the "Run a .exe file in this virtual drive" button to work?

I just re-read your post... I don't think that button will run a tar or gz file.  Only Windows executables.

Sry, I write a bad english.

I installed POL 4.2.11 with the ".tar.gz" package, not with ".deb" package on Linux Lite 64.

 

Using POL 4.2.11, in the Miscellaneous Tab, the button "Open a Shell" works like the button "Run a .exe file in this virtual drive".

And the button "Run a .exe file in this virtual drive" doesn't work.

 

Reinstalling POL 4.2.10 all return to work properly.

 

If this happens only to me, I suppose it's a false problem

 

Same problem here. POL 4.2.11 on Debian jessie. Run exe file in this virtual drive doesnt work.

Confirmed!  4.2.11 Miscellaneous Tab - Run a .exe in this virtual drive is broken.  Also "open a shell" doesn't work either.  I think the buttons are mixed up because "open a shell" does an open file window.
