I've been trying to run Skyrim on ubuntu using playonlinux with no success.

I started to follow this guide:

http://www.gamersonlinux.com/forum/threads/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-guide.331/

I had to adapt some of the installation process, because im using a .iso file from codex, piratebay, 64bit version.

After couple of error's, i've found myself stuck in this error message:

wine: Call from 0x7f295cd001da to unimplemented function VCRUNTIME140.dll.__C_specific_handler, aborting
err:seh:setup_exception stack overflow 4416 bytes in thread 0022 eip 00007f295cd384dd esp 00000000001404c0 stack 0x140000-0x141000-0x240000

I've also downloaded 2 .dll files from this site: https://www.dll-files.com

msvcp140.dll

vcruntime140

...and placed it on the main game dir.

Any hints on solving it? Thank's for your attention!

Your biggest set-back is going to be the pirated .iso file
To get better results, I suggest purchasing it from Steam and installing it through Steam.
