Hi there!

 

I have Macbook Pro OS X El Capitan

Processor 2.2.GHz Intel Core i7

Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536MB, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB of GDDR5 memory

 

I'm very new to Mac, ad to using PlayonMac, and have spent hours researching this problem, but now I'm a little stuck.

 

I've already used POM to run my own copy of another game (much much older) but now I'm trying to run Anno 1404 from GOG, all above board, and it seems to run fine until I launch, then I get a black screen, with the games sounds, and the game design cursor.

 

I wonder if this is an issue to do with DirectX, as I've seen something said about this, but I have no idea how to find files to edit the values, or how to download DirectX9, if this is indeed the issue, and how to run them together.

 

Any help appreciated!
