I downloaded PlayOnMac and installed Steam through it. I could download the game I want to play, Dead by Daylight, but whenever I try to open it, it says "Failed to start the game (unknown error)."

Is that because DbD is a new game or Steam games can't be run through PlayOnMac? Or am I doing something wrong?

I looked into the steam page for Dead by Daylight. It is a 64-bit app, PlayOnMac can (uptil now) only run 32-bit apps. I have a lot of steam games running in PlayOnMac, but get the same error for every 64-bit application. There is development towards 64-bit but that's in a early stage. So no luck for the time being.
