Hello,

I know sims 4 isn't actually supported (hence the subforum selection) but I've seen several people mention being able to run it through various wine related programs. I got origin installed and the game and all expansions downloaded and installed but whenever I try to launch the game I get an error that says:

We're sorry, an error has occurred.

We are unable to connect to EA servers to activate The Sims 4 Limited Edition on this computer using your account. Please try again later.

The servers don't seem to be down, I logged in on the site itself to ensure that the log in I'd put in that one time it actually asked me to log in for the activation was correct, and the only similar erros I've found online seem to be saying the servers were down but no one is saying they're down now and have been for the last two days.

Help if you've gotten it working, please.
