Hi there.

So i try to get Steam running on my debian and already tried many things.

Finally it is more or less working, but when i hit download a game, it starts the download of 0kb and instantly finishes it. It created the Folder on the Virtual Drive but it is empty. When doing a verify of the cache, it says that everything is ok with that empty folder.... I have some "steamwebhelper" popups, but i can ignore them. Other "Online" Features like Friends, Store, etc are working. Just not the Game downloads. Also every Game i click to Install say it has a size of 128mb to download, no matter which game. But then they all download 0kb (nothing).

Im having this Problem on wine version from 1.6 to 1.8

Anybody got any Idea please?!

funny enough it could sucessfull download some workshop items i had subscribed on my other PC,

but not the game itself....

ok, i figured out, its not a problem with linux or POL.

its also not working on my windows machine (vm) and on my windows server.

it only works where i originally installed steam....

i contacted steam support.
