Two days ago I was playing Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age: Origins just fine, with no problems at all.
I ran some updates and this morning they are really buggy
- Missing textures
- Huge FPS stutter
- Freezing
- Invisible Menu's
- black cut-scenes
Mass Effect 3 (Origin) & Grim Dawn (Steam) won't even display the menu screen... I hear audio and see the cursor, but the menu is invisible.
I was able to play Dungeon Siege III just fine in PlayOnLinux
Minetest and Spiral Knights (native) ran fine as well.
I'm not sure what update is causing these problems, but I've restarted a few times and its still present.
Here are the recent updates I applied two days ago in Mint 17.2 64-bit
Is there a way to "undo" updates?
Steps Taken:
- Test Wine games
- Test Native games
- re-install Nvidia 352
Steps to try:
- Launch games in Openbox
- Upgrade to Mint 17.3
specs:
Mint 17.2 64-bit
AMD Phantom II 3-core
GeForce 550 Ti (Nvidia 352)
Samsung 120 GB SSD
8 GB RAM
Here are the errors when Dragon Age: Origin begins to get really low FPS. This never happened before since I've been testing it over the weekend. Now it runs fine for about 3 minutes and slows down producing artifacts.
