Hello guys, first post here (Made a account to post this thread) I'm having a major issue with my Game Dev Tycoon, Everytime I try to start my copy of Game Dev Tycoon (No Steam) it only shows a white screen, i play alot on my computer which has Windows 8.1 but it seems to break on my Ubuntu. I use Ubuntu 10.40, using POL 4.2.2 and have Game Dev Tycoon 1.4.5. Really want this fixed as I LOVE this game. I didn't find any threads about this happening without a Steam problem so I'm hoping you guys here can help!

P.S. Im very new to Ubuntu and any other Linux versions.

First try installing the newest PlayOnLinux:  4.2.8

Just download, double-click and it should open the software installer and ask for a password.

What video card/chip is your computer using?
Do you have the proprietary video drivers installed?
IF your Ubuntu is 64-bit, did you install the multi-arch (32-bit libraries)?
