Changing POL Sound Driver to pulse

Heya,

so recently I started playing ArmA: Cold War Assault again, but the audio would randomly chop off sometimes. This wasn't a large issue, until now because it has permanently stayed like that. All of my POL Steam audio plays at a very accelerated way, and it pisses me off. I managed fixing it with normal wine by changing the audio driver to pulse, but I can't manage changing it in POL. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Leo

Hi,

This is not possible for plain Wine packages, Wine does not support PulseAudio.

That's an option with some patched Wine versions, like the *-staging ones.

Actually, if it is doing that, it not being supported does not mean that running through Pulse does not work. I do it all of the time. Arch's wiki is pretty full of things to help troubleshoot.
