Yeah. It totally works great. I love it. I am actually using the -staging WineBuild with CSMT enabled; what a difference! I am so glad that we were able to get that set up for the community (obviously with the help of the fantastic team at wine-staging.).

Plus, the game is pretty darn fun. I am the opposite of you right now; only tested NWO once or twice, but didn't really sit down and play it. Well, I guess now I have to if I am going to write that script. ha. :)

The Wine -staging versions are GREAT

I was getting 'spotty' performance with Grim Dawn, tried Wine 1.7.39staging and now its running perfectly!
I'm hoping WINE developers will integrate some of this performance with staging versions

They do. That is why it is called wine-staging. :) haha. From what I understand, it is a testbed for patches and whatnot that have not yet been tested as being stable enough to get into the actual main source tree for Wine, but they do start getting accepted as time goes on, and then they deprecate the fix from wine-staging once it has been accepted into Wine's main tree. That is my understanding of it, anyway. I am sure there is much more to it. Either way, it's frikkin awesome.

Eh. I just like what I do. ;) You are very welcome. I let it run all night last night and patch the client, so this AM I am going to take a few screenshots of NWO. Just waiting at the title screen for it to start (same thing as STO; freezes at the titles screen for at least 15 minutes. It is completely normal.).

If I remember correctly, NWN Online (like many MMOs) is a 2-4 hour download (15G), so it maybe be working correctly you just can't tell in 10 min.

That is not where the lag happens. It is after the client downloads, and the game initially starts. It sits just staring at you for like, 15 minutes or longer, but after it works fine.
