PlayOnMac_4.2.4 XQuartz install on OS X Mavericks

How to I uninstall it?

I was trying out POM 4.2.4 and dutifully allowed it to download and install XQuartz for X11.  It called for a reboot to put XQuartz into play.  I immediately noticed seriously degraded screen resolution even when I had not yet restarted POM.  I somehow expected Xquartz to only come into effect when a Windows program was being run, but that was obviously not the case.  So how do I uninstall this XQuartz download and put my brand new Mac back the way it was?  I have already deleted:

/Library/LaunchAgents/org.macosforge.xquartz.startx.plist

but it has no effect on my degraded screen background graphics (which used to be beautiful) even after a reboot.  What exactly did this XQuartz download change?

Hello,

I have never noticed such effect. Is it a retina MacBook ? Can you try to have a look at your screen settings?

Yes, Retina display.  It went away after a second reboot .  I'm marking as solved because I have no means to pursue any further.

Well, sorry for that. I also have a Retina display (as many user) and we did not encounter such problem.

Anyway, in future PoM version, it is very likely that we will no longer need XQuartz.
