How to 'install' programs that have no installer

...like a program that is distributed as a .zip file with some config files and libraries

Hi! I've used WINE with great success on Linux for many years. I'm trying playonmac for the first time on OSX. Here is the issue I'm having.

Some open source windows programs, snes9x comes to mind, are distributed as .zip archives with several files included; one of which is an executable. The typical method of installation in Windows is to extract the files, create a folder in Program Files and copy the files over. Launch the executable and voila! How can I import this into the playonmac frontend?

I'm using version 4.2.3 on OSX Mavericks 10.9.4.

Thanks in advance

For the moment, just copy it into the drive_c folder of your virtual drive, and create the shortcut through your configure menu
