Hello!

I'm using 64 bit Debian, and when I'm launching PlayOnLinux, I have a message that I dont have 32bit OpenGL libraries. My graphic card is Radeon HD 4670. I've tried almost everything, but I can't find solution. Sorry for my bad english, if there were any mistakes.

Did you install the 32-bit "multi-arch" libraries in Debian?

Also, did you install the proprietary drivers for your video card/chip?  Like: Intel, Nvidia or AMD

I'm not sure about libraries, but I installed drivers and added i386 architecture.

Was it called multi-arch?

Did you try launching a game in PlayOnLinux?
You can also test 32-bit with Linux games as well.  There are a few free one's out there.

Tried to launch League of Legends and osu!, they are crashing before they ever launch.

Can you tell me how can I install Linux games?

Cause I'm kinda new to Debian (and Linux), and before i asked for help, i accidentlly installed nvidia opengl, so I have to reinstall drivers and GNOME Shell, and lost linux games.

About libraries - I tried to install many of them, also "ia32-libs".

The Nvidia driver should be fine if you have an Nvidia card.  Debian should have "additional drivers" in the menu somewhere.  Its as easy as clicking Nvidia Proprietary and clicking install.  If you have already done this, then you are set.

As for Linux Games, try using the "Software Installer" and searching for games like:

  • 0A.D.
  • Alien Arena
  • Tremulous
  • Armagetron
  • Neverball
  • Secret Maryo Chronicles

Most of these should be available for installation.  Most of them are 3D except Maryo and should require the Nvidia drivers and 32-bit libraries to run properly.

If you need more Step-by-Step instructions, try http://www.gamersonlinux.com
There are over 100 guides for PC games that run in Windows, but now can run in Linux with PlayOnLinux.

do you have the AMD Proprietary drivers installed?

I've read many posts about AMD linux drivers causing problems.  So there is a chance that it might or might not work.

Games (tested Neverball, Armagetron and Mario) are working properly, drivers are installed, I think I have only 64-bit OpenGL, not 32-bit.

One of those games must be 32-bit OpenGL compatible.  Or all of them.... I'm glad they are working, that is a good sign.
Look for "Driver Manager" in Debian and see if has the Radeon AMD drivers installed.
If "yes" then you should already have the 32-bit opengl drivers.  Otherwise those games probably wouldn't run at all.

I'm in home now, but i can't find any driver manager. Are you sure that Debian have something like that?

I also forget to write that I have not any message about 64-bit OpenGL, so I think it's installed.

Edit: In settings my driver is VESA: RV730, so it may cause problem.

Edit2: I had driver from Debian wiki, so i uninstalled it, installed from official AMD site, and now everything seems to work properly. But thank you very much for help, it's good to know that there are still peoples helping others.
