Wine version: 1.5.25
Distribution: Xubuntu
Distribution version: 14.04 (Trusty)
Graphics card: Nvidia, GeForce GT 740M
Graphics card driver: 331.38 Stable (using Nvidia via nvidia-prime)
Comments: I did a search through the forums and didn't come up with any hits for running Bioshock Inifnite from Steam. I've gotten the Steam virtual drive setup and I was able to run Dear Esther and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. from it. When I download Binfinite and run the game, the first run gives me the dialog that it's installing DirectX and this seems to go fine. Once I try to run the game and select Play BioShock Infinite, the dialog is replaced with the preparing BioShock Infinite and after a moment it kicks back to the dialog asking if I'd like to play BioShock Infinite or Launch the Benchmarking Utility.

When I opened the POL debugging console there only seemed to be one line of error that prints when I try to run the game:

wine: Call from 0x7b83d939 to unimplemented function msvcr90.dll._vscwprintf_p, aborting

I also did a search on DuckDuckGo and through the forums and did not come across anything relating to either msvcr90.dll or msvcr90.dll._vscwprintf_p.

Full debug log from starting of Steam to BioShock Infinite not starting:

My appologies, it seems as if wine 1.5.30 has the issue fixed, now just to get it updated!
