Hello guys,
I recently switched to fedora and used playonlinux for the first time. First of all i have to say, that the installation works great. I installed the Game ( League of Legends) without any problem and the presettings works nearly perfect for me, expect one thing.
The only Problem is the sound. My HDMI Audio Out is used as default Audio out, but instead of that one, i want to use my optical audio out (i dont use this HDMI Audio Port anyway). I tried to change the audio out in the Wine configuration, but i couldn't succeed. There are severeal Audio out's listed, but it doesn't matter wheter i choose my optical Audio out, my USB Headset or HDMI Audio out, it still continues using the HDMI OUT. I already deactivate my HDMI Audio out in Fedora. This works good, but now the USB Headset is used as default Audio out and not my Optical out.
Since i dont want to deactivate or remove all my audio devices (expect the one i want to use) to use the correct device for audio playback, i am searching for a possibilty to switch between the audio devices. Is this a known problem and is there any working solution?
System Information:
Distro: Linux fedora 20
Audio Devices: NVIDIA HDMI OUT (GTX 670), Optical onboard (works with wine, already tested), USB Headset (working too)
Game causing Problem: League of Legends (No other Game tested)
In the wine configuration, (System default) is selected as "Output device". As i said, it doesnt matter which Audio device i select, the HDMI Audio is used as audio device.
\\edit: maybe its necessary to say, that i'm running a 64 bit system
