Hello,

I'm trying to run GW2 in Ubuntu, and I come up with this error log:
It's pretty much a whole lot of:
fixme:d3d:resource_check_usage Unhandled usage flags 0x8.

I looked this up already and it says it's caused by not having enough video memory. I checked the settings for GW2 on POL and it says the video memory available is 4096. I know my machine can run GW2 as I've run it in Windows in the past, and it was even working in Ubuntu until a couple days ago. The only difference is that I used the Intel Graphics Installer for Linux in the hopes of improving my performance.

This is my machine:

Thanks for the help!

Well, it doesn't say it as well as

err:d3d:resource_init Out of adapter memory

do ;)
In general you can disregard fixmes in first approximation, and this Unhandled usage flags 0x8 is no exception, you can find it in lots of logs, including of perfectly working programs.

If your videochip has no dedicated memory and your system has 4GB in total, you cannot have declared 4GB for video usage, you'll have to check how much has been declared exactly (BIOS? Not sure).

What could cause it to work fine previously but stop working now? I haven't changed any of my settings...

Guild Wars 2 stopped working for me as well today. It stopped working after I updated my Nvidia drivers to 334.21 ( I had other updates as well such as pulse 5.0). I have downgraded both to their most recent versions that worked previously, but Guild Wars 2 still won't run.

Here is my debug after upgrading to 334.21 then downgrading back to 331.49(which was working right before I updated):

Edit: I have an Nvidia GTX 650 Ti with 1GB of memory

Here is the debug log after the update to nvidia driver 334.21

exincoralius, are you able to run anything else through PlayOnLinux?
