I can log in via the launcher. If I try to login from the game it ALWAYS results in a crash. Just to be clear I typed always in all caps to emphasize the word not to shout.

Hmmm. Not sure. There is really nothing on there that says what it is. Most likely an issue with Origin. Was it working before? Hope you are well, btw. :)

Origin has always been very flaky running under wine. In fact the only version I was able to get to run Origin was POL modified wine version 1.5.28-Origin and even then sometimes I have to kill the Origin process and restart it several times because it usually doesn’t initialize on the first try. Unfortunately because we use POL then the wine devs refuse to even look at it even though none of their versions have never worked with Origin. Some programmers refuse to accept that some one can can get their program to do something that they can't get it to do. That's one of the things I like about open source programs. Edité par steve723

Yeah. I have never had anything work with it nicely. It is frustrating that out of all of the other projects that do what POL does, winetricks and POL are pretty much the only ones left (save for commercial versions). I have had issues trying to get information across to them, as well. To be honest, you would be better off learning OOP and C/C++ and just writing it yourself. I have seriously thought about it, just to help out. I ended up going another route, in terms of language, but yeah. Open-Source, FTW.
