Hey there, I've been having some trouble playing League of Legends.  I run Ubuntu 13.04 and I downloaded Playonlinux from the repository but it's not up-to-date (apparently an update is available for 4.2.1. but for some reason I can't download it no matter what I put into terminal.)

EDIT:

I just realised how poorly constructed this question was.  I actually wanted a fix for the black gameplay screen not the out-of-date Playonlinux, unless the out-of-date software is the problem.

The summoner loading screen is always black too, has the icons from my desktop hanging over the top of it (enlarged because the resolution is skewed) and then loads up the game with a black screen that hangs half off my monitor.  Hitting escape and quitting the game is guesswork because the buttons are in the same place they should be but the game's hanging half off my screen, like I said haha.

I have system information here:

Hey guys, I found out the video card model is a:

Radeon HD 6600M/6700M/7600M Series

Sorry it took so long to update, I've just been working. Kind of relieved that it's no an Nvidea card to be honest!  If this is just a case of installing one of the available wine patches then that would be useful... Anyway no one seems to have an answer so I'm hoping it's not something more complex, hahah.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
