Hello,
Today i tried to install company of heroes(first one). First of all i tried autorun.exe then i saw there is two executable too on cd seems like works for setup i tried all of them and when setup working there is a problem on gameinst.exe i installed another computer and copied game folder to pol's program files. Now it works but it wants me to write key i write but it says there is no media to verify my cd is original. Thanks for comments!

Setup.exe should work from the CD-ROM
When you do a manual installation and get to the Wine Configuration, make sure check the drives tab and be sure your CD-ROM is on the list.
It should be there by default as D:
Path should be similar to this, /media/username/Company of Heroes

Does the CD-ROM create a shortcut on your desktop automatically?
You can always right click it and check the path. Then match in Wine.

Copying from Windows can work, but you still need the path in Drives to match your CD-ROM

Booman i tried them "but the program gameInst.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check the Application Database for tips about running this application." get an error something like this. When i try view details there is no output. Setup didn't work but tried copied CoH wine configuration and added cd and verify is successful now only i have a problem with relic games online password that i forgave thank you and i'll mark it as solved :D

Its probably because the necessary libraries were not install before the game installation.
When doing a manual installation make sure to install these libraries:
d3dx9
d3dx10
vcrun2005

I bet the setup will work then.

I'm glad the device setting in Wine helped
